My chip stack is 9100. There are 7 people left at the final table of a rebuy tournament. The small blind who is small stack has 3400 chips left. The blinds are at 600/1200.

We post our blinds. I have 7900 left. SB has 2800 left. I get dealt 86s. Everybody folds to the SB.

SB goes allin. So it's 2200 left for me to call with 4600 in the pot. So I'm getting paid 2 to 1.

I have only been playing with at the same table as the SB for a few minutes so I don't really know anything about him. I decide to call almost imediately with 86s. He flips over AA. I loose the hand and am now down to 5700. Should I have made the call? Or should I have folded?

BTW - the other stacks on the table were between 10k and 30k. Also, we were already in the payout structure, but the payouts started to go up steeply at about 4th/5th place.

I call it as well. We have to assume SB's range is pretty damn wide here and you're very likely to have two live cards. I really think you're priced in to call in this spot. You're also pretty damn short so you need to make something happen.

OK. So I have one person agreeing with me. Anyone else have an opinion on the matter?
