Recently I had the biggest downswing I've ever had. $1200 is down to 650. I started to question my poker skills and if I was just getting lucky at times. But the more I think about it I went from a $200 bankroll to $1200 in two months. So I did a little digging to find a leak on my game. The actual leak in my game came from not having a bad run of cards or bad beats but rather my monster hands weren't getting paid off as much as It did when I was on my incline. I play at UB and recently there have been players that don't bring a whole stack into the table and with me bringing a whole stack ($50 in a $50 n/l game), my draws have not gotten paid off as well as my big hands.

...Well I guess that's the first lesson I learn in the New Year.
Never call a short stack w/o any of the big starting hands.

Hand values just change. With short money AJo goes up in value and 56s goes way down.

Such a good, but often overlooked piece of advice.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
