These tournaments should be easy to have a nice ITM% and a decent ROI.

If it's a regular structure I would advise you to be patient early, take control of the bubble nits, and try and build a stack coming into the final table. Cashing probably won't do anything to affect your roll but taking one down (or a top 3 finish) could help you play bigger buyin tournaments. Therefore I'd ride the variance wave and try to build a big stack.

i am probably not communicating very effectively about my very early strategy in these things, but yeah, basically wait for a good hand and bet it and hope the donks come along or go all in pf..

no just taking risks and trying to build a big stack instead of being a nit and limping into the money

I just started playing tourneys, here's what I did on the bubble today in a 180man, I ended up getting 3rd, in the past I'd just fold my ass to the money and then bitch about getting short, I've started to take risks, resteal, put pressure on other medium stacks, and give myself a fighting chance late.

To play real poker u gotta play @ least $1/$2. The micro limits knowone takes it serious. You will lose yr money down there playin those limits. I think its like playin for fake money on full tilt.

The word "trappy" in your initial post got me thinking, my guess is you aren't building big pots with your big hands, and thus you aren't getting paid fully

don't trap against bad players

My opinion on this topic is different than yours.

I just wanted to say that as nicely as possible.

I could see play being a little different than normal considering the possibility of someone not worrying about the .10 and just going berzerk during the first 15 minutes or so.

Perfectly stated. At this time, I only play $10NL, and I take it very seriously.

Not so much as you would think, but they do exist. I love it when those guys are around. It's an easy way to build you roll. I've also seen these guys at $25NL, $50NL, $100NL and especially live at $200NL.

I've been lucky enough to get a few sessions with those guys. It doesn't take them long to dump $50 rebuying at low limits playing like a tool.
