Hi Guys And Gals.. Dave Here Again... Its Been Some Time Since I visited FTR... About A Week Ore 2, Sorry For The Absenteeism, It Looks Like I Missed A Lot Of Good Posts That Im Now Making y Way Through... Anyway On With The Post... I Have Been Playing Some Live Games Lateley... At A Particular Venue, Ok Let Me Break It Down For You... I Am Playing Against Total Idiots, They Call 100% Of The Time... They Go All In Even When There Fishing, They Never Fold And They Never Chek... One Of Them Tryed Making A Streight With 4 Cards... Another Called All In At the River Without Even Having A Pair... There Drunk, They Drop The Cards On The Floor And Laugh About It... In Short, Its A Shambels... And Logically.. I Win Every Single Time I Have Played Them... Yet I Cant Help Notice How Lucky I Was To Do This... Ill Explain, They Are Not Realy Playing Poker... I Mean It Looks Like Poker. But Luck Is Still A Big Factor... So Im Once Again Asking For Advice, My Problem Is... These Players Play A Strange Rule, First Of.. We Dont Have Enough Chips... We Start Off With About 40 Or 50 Big Blinds Each Instead Of 100... Plus The Blinds Are Doubled Each Orbit Of The Table... So My Strategy So Far, Is I Only Play My Absolute Best Hands First Orbit, And I Get About 5% Looser Each Time The Blinds Go Up So... There You Have It, Im Now Playing Against My Ideal Oponents, But.. Im Not Playing My Ideal Game... By This I Mean That The People.. Well I Couldent Hope For Better.. There Just Throwing Cash Away... But.. As The Blinds Go Up SO So Soooo Fast. Im Forced At Times To ''Gamble'' by This I Mean Pushing Just To Stop The Blinds From Eating Me Alive... So Im Asking... What Would You Do... If You Found Your Self In A All Round Short Stacked Game Playing Drunks With Ever Climbing Blinds ???

Hi guys and gals, Dave here again.
Its been some time since i visited ftr - about a week or 2, sorry for the absenteeism. It looks like i missed a lot of good posts that I'm now making my way through.
Anyway, on with the post. I have been playing some live games lateley at a particular venue. Let me break it down for you: I am playing against total idiots, they call 100% of the time. They go all in even when there fishing, they never fold and they never check. One of them tryed making a streight with 4 cards; another called all in at the river without even having a pair. There drunk, they drop the cards on the floor and laugh about it. In short, its a shambels.
And logically, I win every single time i have played them. Yet i cant help notice how lucky i was to do this. Ill explain, they are not realy playing poker. I mean it looks like poker. But luck is still a big factor.
So im once again asking for advice, my problem is: These players play a strange rule, first of. We dont have enough chips. We start off with about 40 or 50 big blinds each instead of 100. Plus the blinds are doubled each orbit of the table. So my strategy so far is i only play my absolute best hands first orbit, and i get about 5% looser each time the blinds go up so...
There you have it, im now playing against my ideal oponents, but Im not playing my ideal game. By this i mean that the people... well, i couldent hope for better. There just throwing cash away. But, as the blinds go up so so soooo fast, Im forced at times to ''gamble'' (by this i mean pushing just to stop the blinds from eating me alive).
So im asking - what would you do if you found your self in a all round short stacked game playing drunks with ever climbing blinds ???

Pick my nose and win money?

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I Think It Has Got To Be Harder To Type Out A Super Long Post Using This Format. I'm Finding That Even This Short Meaningless Post Is Taking Forever To Write. I Wish I Had The Time On My Hands Necessary To Post Like This All The Time. Sadly This Is Not The Case. Good Luck In The Upcoming Business Year.
Your Friend Meeloche.
