Drives me nuts probably because at lower limits this happens all of the time. Just played a hand with JJ dealt. Raised 5xBB preflop. Three callers. Flop comes 10 7 4 all suits. I bet 2/3 the pot trying to drive out (now 15xBB) and still get two callers. Turn comes with a Q and they check. I Bet another 8xBB. Both call. River comes K. Now one of them bets 10xBB. I assume one has hit either a queen or a king at this point and fold. Show down shows they both had a pair of FOURS at the flop. One hit a king for two pair on the river, the other still had a PAIR OF FOURS. The guy called to showdown with nothing.

Makes me mad I had to invest so much money into a pot that should have been laid down after the flop by both these chuckleheads and then have to lay down my own hand. Good laydown though I guess.

Just took one of them while I was writing this for 20xBB when he called all in with pocket J's and I had pocket K's. Revenge is sweet.

But still, I will never understand this mentality. I will be happy to take their money in the long run however.

Greedo017 is on a distinguished road
bet the pot on the flop and the turn. betting 8 on the turn isn't doing anything to get them out.

Say "NH", write down their names and make some notes about how they play stupid cards.

Follow them around and play at their table whenever you see them on one.

Make lots of money.

Find some more players like that.

Rinse.

Repeat.

This is very frustrating, but just remember that play like this is what has gotten your operation from $30 to $120.

Its even more frustrating playing in a full ring game where 2 people might pay to see the flop and they all fold when you finally hit something after you've been folding J4o and 92o all night long.

That one guy was on my buddy list faster than you can say buddy list. As for people folding when you get something good after a long time, I always chalk it up to at least it's a won pot and move on. You're right though, it sucks when you get rockets and raise preflop and watch the whole table fold...fold...fold...noooooo.

It's worse when it's folded around to your BB and you hold AA

Yea, I feel ya all, but I was just making that example so that he'd be able to appreciate the loose games a little more in comparison to the tightass games out there now.

What's funny is I have a bunch of guys like this on my buddy list (the chasers and idiots). I always notice after a few weeks they are only playing on play money tables and freerolls.

LMAO!

I just have to wait till they get some more money some how, and then I'll be waiting to take it away from them again.

Then it's BACK TO THE FREEROLLS FOR YOU!!

Overbet the pot against them. Force them to put a substantial chunk of their stack just to see a turn and a river.
