Ok. So 11 days ago I won $87 coming 4th of 297 in Royal Vegas's new player freeroll. From then, in a week I have turned that into about $300 playing $0.05/0.10 NL 6 and 10 player tables.

Recently I have started playing a few SnGs. A bit heads up games, some $5 blinds change every 10 hands 10 player SnGs. I've also played a few $10 20 player 2 table SnGs. Over the last 3 days I haven't really profited, but I haven't went down. I'm not playing ring, just MTT and SnG..

If I'm better at ring should I play there or will I eventually become better at SnGs the more I play? I've read about some people doing great in SnGs, but I just can't finish ITM over 50% of the time :\

storm75m is an unknown quantity at this point
Personally I prefer the ring much more myself. I've won plenty of SnG's, but still don't finish ITM as much as I would like either. Also I have a problem with commitment so I may not have enough time to play a SNG, whereas I can sit in a ring for 20 mins if I want and see what happens. But the bottom line is, the big bucks are in the tournaments. And yes, you will become better at the SnG's the more you play. There are so many different strategies... (Hope you read DavSimons post, it's awesome.)
