now that i look back, i wonder why i even called with J2o. was i expecting a miracle flop?

i tried to justify it to myself by saying i had a reasonable stack and it was only 100 more to call....but i'm not sure if it was the right decision

with that aside....here are my reads and what led me to do what i did

jimmy has built a pretty bad rep for probing at pots with min raises. when axpplnr reraised him, i felt that maybe he had a piece of the flop and was trying to push jimmy out. after i reraised, axp sits until the timer shows up. this led me to believe that maybe he had a jack with a weak kicker. on the turn comes a K, and the rest is history.

what do you think i should have done? i think i was a little too aggressive after the turn...... maybe i should have dropped another medium bet or even checked. not sure though.

Once you completed from the SB I can see how you would have trouble with this hand. That was the biggest problem, and it could have turned out very well. Once he flat called your reraise it's hard to say how to play from there because he catches his King. Usually a push here will take the pot, and maybe even get you a call from AJ, or an overpair that hasn't tripped up.
So I dunno. I could very possibly play that like that.
