Good going, Ivory
I haven't set myself targets as such, but I did reach my first big milestone last night - 500 pounds sterling of pure profit! (that's about $850 I think)
Obviously, next time I play there's a strong chance it will go back below said magic number, but hell, in the short term it's something to be happy with!

Good job on reaching your goal.
Raise those queens preflop.

good going, milestones definatly help to focus the mind and improve play. My win rate has improved significantly since I started logging every session in an excel spreadsheet.
Just reading the posts I am a bit worried I am a total wuss, I have built my 'roll to about $2000 playing $50 shorthanded games on Paradise and was planning on waiting until I had about 3K before trying the $100 tables (partly this is because when I move up I normally lose a few buy in's adjusting and I am assuming $100 will be a tougher game). Moving to $100 at 2K seems to be very soon to me but perhaps I am letting my caution limit my potential winnings? Is $100 inhabited by poker gods or just people with more money to lose?

i have no idea....it's still the same game except you win and lose more money to be honest the hardest level i've played so far was .10/.20 lol
i dipped my toe into 100$ nl once and doubled up pretty quickly...alot of all in bluffs
