Ok so the other day I get this email from empire where I no longer play (because they are a bunch of arseholes but that's another story, what's wrong with trying to recommend yourself as a friend I ask!) - saying "please come back, we've put $10 in to your account".

So after a couple of thousand hands at $25NL, I turned the $10 in to $60 which allowed me to withdraw the $50 minimum, still leaving me with the free $10. A few hundred hands later and that $10 is back up to just over $20 again. I wonder how long I can keep this cycle running and how much free money I can get from the empire crew

I'm currently residing on ultimatebet where I've turned my initial $100 deposit in to $160 playing $10NL. I've also got a 27% rakeback deal with them which should boost the winnings a little

Anyway this post is a bit pointless really, but I'm happy that I'm winning, and fairly consistently, at long last!

Another way to look at it --
Empire still has the $10 because you left it with them. You assisted them in creating $10 worth of rake, which covered their gift to you, and you continue to assist them. Any money you received and withdrew above the $10 Empire gift was actully from other players. You won't really take their $10 until you withdraw it.
I'm a know-it-all.

No, really.

Who cares - I have $50 in my bank that I didn't have 3 days ago and it cost me $0 investment and 0% risk. Also, I've nearly met their bonus requirements so the $10 will be mine too So NUUURRRRRRrrrrr.

You're right. What an ass I can be.
I guess I was just picking up on the "I hate Empire" vibe.

Hehe no worries I'm nearly back up to $50 again for the 2nd time! $25NL on Empire rocks, I might actually hang around there for a bit...

what to do with the $10

take it to a NL table, and go all-in on the first good hand you see. If they start folding, then just reduce ur requirements.

run it up to $60, then cash out.

If you bust out, so be it. But be careful; if you redeposit, they might take the $10 back from you. Of course, empire sucks, so you're not going to redeposit now are you..
