After swearing that I would never play online again I have decided to go back on my word and got an account on Full Tilt. Woohoo I know

Anyways, I'm pretty good when it comes to BRM but my game selection absolutely sucks.

I consider myself a very strong live player but I never really did that good online.

I have deposited around $450 with intention of grinding up to a lot more obviously. As much as I can, I don't want to start playing $20NL so instead I am playing 9man $20sng's. I am playing a game right now as I am making this post and they don't seem too bad at all. I wouldn't mind playing cash tables when I am rolled enough for around $50-100NL. So it's safe to say I have a while to go before that happens.

Can anyone assist me with game selections etc as well as games that will give you the most value in sense of a return. Like satellites that you unregister from etc.

Thank you!

it sounds like you're right in your ideal bankroll range (could possibly even go a few bucks higher) but as for sats you can unregister from, or that offer some other kind of value,

9man sat to the 80K, 2 winners ($109 each)
slightly over your range at $38 buyin is sat to the 80K, 3 winners (again $109 each)

other than that just a few tournament tokens so nothing big in that range

I saw the $38 buy-in games and don't really mind playing those on the one off basis. I put in a nice small session today which was about 10 or so games which included a couple of $20+2 games, $8+0.80 tokens, and some $24+2 games (I obv made the token to play them).

The $20+2 games seem very easy but I only cashed in 2 out of 5 of them that I played. In the other 3 I was railed the same way finishing 4th and 5th. I stacked off with 1010 and was a 3 way all in each time against ak/aq/aj and each time an ace came out and sometimes even kicker (like they needed it). From the cashes in the $20+2 I took 1st and chopped 1st and 2nd for $72 each since we were even stacked. I was slightly ahead and I didn't want to be a douche about it since we were already playing for a while anyways...

The $8.80 games are very soft and I think I cashed 3 tokens from 7 or 8 starts and 2 $14 cashes.

I have 1 token left and from the $24+2 90 player I grabbed 6th which sucked cos I went out with KJ vs K7 when it was shoved on my BB when I was short stacked. Flops flush and rivers 7- gg me. Good for $107 I think.

Overall though I finished almost $100 up not including the token i have to use at a later time.

Also, apologies for posting in the wrong section. Is it possible to move this thread (again) to blogs and operations?

Thanks!
