im playing at a no limit table where minimum buy in is 100 bucks. i have AK preflop and i bet 15 bucks, this guy after me raises double of what i bet, and so i call. on the flop, a King comes out, and two cards that i dont remember, and i bet big, he reraises me, so i re raise him by going all in. we flip over our cards and he has pocket kings. bad play by me? what should i do next time? it's hard to fold AK when a king comes out.

Unless you have a great read on him to put his hole cards on AA or KK, then you're gonna have to pay him off...

similar situation happened to me i have AK on button , i raise preflop 1 caller, then dude in blind reraises me so i call so did other dude flop K 9 2, he raises other dude calls i reriase he reraises all in, other dude calls, i fold sure enough the guy in blind that raised preflop had AA other dude had KQ
makes it alot easier to get away form with 2 other guys in the hand, not sure if i could get away from that hand if i was heads up with some one.

Against an unknown, you're losing your stack. Heck, I might push right there against a solid player to take away the post-flop edge QQ/JJ/TT would have. Against a tight player, fold pre-flop as you're almost always against AA/KK/QQ/JJ/AK. QQ/JJ won't pay you off post-flop.

When weak players raise the minimum in a NL game, it's usually trouble. "I have a monster, PLEASE don't fold..."
