There are no bad beats on these hands, very few analysis. Just some post about feeling good about good hands holding up. I am a newbie to NL and barely know how to play well post flop. Just been playing extremely tight preflop (laying down AQ,KQ etc to even 3-4 bb raises preflop), hunting sets with PP and playing AA-JJ aggressively.

-------------------

One problem:
I am having huge trouble playing AK and AQ when i whiff, after i make a raise of 4-5 times BB. I dont have the balls to continue bet into 3-4 players and am giving up on the flop or turn.

is that a big leak (pfr raising and giving up on the flop if i miss completely ??).
---------------------------------

NL 300, B&M , 2$-5$ blinds.

Hand 1: Hero has 400$ behind, Villain has 800$ behind.
Hero is 3c-3d in SB

MP1 limps, MP2 limps, Villain raises to 20$, Button calls, Hero calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop (100$) pot : Ah-3h-4d
Villain bets 25, Hero raises to $160, Villain calls.

Turn: Ah-3h-4d-As
Hero bets 200$, Villain calls 200$

River:Ah-3h-4d-As-8c
Hero bets 20$ (all in), Villain calls.

Villain shows Ac-Qc
-----------------------------------
Hand 2: Hero has 250$ behind, Villain has 1000$ behind.
Hero has QQ in BB. villain is UTG
Villain pushes preflop whenever pot reaches 30$-40$. i have seen him make the same move with AJo, A100, any PP.

Preflop: 5 people limp, Hero raises to 50$, Villain reraises 200$, hero calls after thinking a while (is he limp reraising with Aces this time !!).

He had 5-5!!!!!!!!!!
I flopped set, turned quads. Damn, villain cost me too much money .
---------------------------------------------
Hand 3: Hero has 400$ behind. Villain is ultra aggressive. has about 600$ behind.

Hero is KK in mP2

Preflop: Vilain raises to 20$, Hero reraises to 60$, Button calls, Villain calls.

Flop (180$): Qc-5s-2s
villain checks, Hero bets 200$, Villain reraises 400$ to put hero all in, Hero calls.
Turn-River: Qc-5s-2s-7c-5d
Villain shows A-Q. yeaaaaaaa...
--------------------------------------------------
I am now not shy of reraising KK and AA up to 80$-100$ preflop and still get 1-2 callers at times. now i know why i was getting stacked by raising only 20$-25$ with these hands preflop and it got called in 4-5 places. .
If it doesnt get called and i only take down the pfr money and blinds, i am still telling myself to be happy !!

On some nights (especially weekends), when you raise 50$-70$ preflop you are likely to get called by 1-2 players with ranges from AA-10-10, KQ,KJs,JQs etc.
