I splurged last months winnings at new Hardware to improve
my productivity. I calculated that if new hardware will
increase my productivity at just 10% it will take a year to
pay of this investment.

More likely I get 50% boost to my winnings. Here is my
current setup:

1. Sony P243 23" WS monitor with 1920x1200 resolution
I can easily run 6 tables at this screen. Its awesome!

2. Old 19" Fujitsu TFT as sidekick capable running 4 tables.

3. New PC with

- 2 GB RAM
- Sapphire Radeon X1600PRO 256MB DDR3
- 200 GB HD
- IntelĀ® PentiumĀ® 4 -processor 524 3.06 GHz

SW:

- Pokertracker & PA Hud
- HW Firewall
- 3rd party SW firewall
- 2 different virus scans
- legion of spy removal programs

Doesn't having multiple resident (as opposed to online) virus scan programs cause conflicts? I'm pretty certain of this.

I would not personally have 2 virus scanners installed at the same time on my machine. To each his own I guess.

Why does having more than one virus scan cause conflicts? I'm considering buying a new computer soon (since my 15 inch flat screen just isn't cutting it).. but i'd be curious to learn more about this stuff before I do so.
