kinda nitty i like pie...

it would probably be better to play just like 4 tables of 200nl for the move up then to play 3 of each wouldnt it?

I'm not all that nitty usually. It's just I'm pretty new to 6 tabling so I'm not getting involved in as many hands as I as usually do.

As for playing the 3 and 3 tables, I really have no rhyme or reason to why I'm doing it. I'm also buying in with $100 to the 200NL tables. I'm kinda just getting my feet wet and getting use to playing for twice as much money.

Too much? Nah.

You're playing at the rate I sustained for two weeks in Dec before the holiday's screwed it up. I don't have the time to play that much now. Keep rolling TJ you're doing good.

Well I can't speak for others, but I know for myself I'm definitely not playing enough! I can't imagine ever having a month of 50-125k hands though, thats for sure!

Not while 4-tabling at least.

Didn't play at all in January. Played my first ever 2k hand session last night and lost 1 buyin. From hands 1400-1500 I dropped 4 buyins and I actually won 3.5 buyins back on my last 100 hands.

I have to say Trainer_jyms, this is inspiring. I'm pretty much in the same situation as you and I've only been able to put in about 5-6K hands so far in the new year. I better get a move on.

^^This many tables blows me away. I don't have any problems following the action at 4 tables, but a little while ago I tried to go up to 6 tables(with a little bit of overlap) and soon enough I misclicked and folded in a reraised pot as the action came to me with pocket aces. Needless to say, that was the end of my 6 tabling career for now. Boo me!

XTR, try doubling (or nearly) your PFR. With only 17% of hands being played you should be raising all but a few really. Stats are decent though so no big worries!

I 6-8 table with massive overlap and NEVER misclick. Do you guys have Parkinsons?
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

No but I have the uncanny ability to overlap the raise button on one table with the fold button on another.

4.5bb/100 roughly.
With bonuses I have made $11,357.00 (I love bonuses )

I 8table on 2 moniters (4 on each), both are only 17inch with a fair amount of overlap. Rarely misclick

im trying. its pretty hard to adjust tho, there“s alot of limp-stack off action and raises wont thin the field nor do you gain any information about villians hand, a 5bb call could mean anything. i“ve seen hands lately i wouldn“t even expect at play money.
isn“t it better to tighten up, since i dont have to worry about not getting paid off when i hit?

yes, unless they are also loose/passive post-flop then you want to play any hand with multi-way potential.

Hey all:

I've been away for a while. Its good to still see some good winrates, since the major shutdown occured.

My stats went to sh!t since then, and I haven't made the time to work my game back into shape. Over 13k hands, I'm -5 bb/100, across 25, 50, 100 NL---brutal. This was after a solid 6 bb/100 rate earlier last year. Obviously, the game has changed.

In retrospect, I made the mistake of trying to LAG it up without employing greater discipline to lay down hands. In addition, I experienced an inordinate number of near-nut loses, and strong second bests. My confidence has been a little shaken by this run (the worst ever for me), so I've taken some time off from ring.

I've switched to MTT's and SnGs to get my confidence back.

Fixed your post (seriously - stop limping so much - at 6max if you aren't raising 10% pre-flop at the very least then you're losing masses of value)

I've played 6.4k hands since the new year started ... ugh.

2.1k hands at 50NL 6 max
27/15/1.7 and 21BB/100 for +$482

4.3k hands at 100NL 6 max
25/17/2.2 and 0.22BB/100 for +$19

I should probably get my VPIP down

Year has been pretty good, this month especially, but I suck at getting hands in [maybe 20k hands this month], hoping to change that this month and get in around 50k hands. How some of you guys play more than that only 4 tabling [or 6 tabling at stars] is unreal. Dont you burn out?

I guess i'll be the first to admit a losing start so far... 7800 hands
2007 Profit= --$3,758.xx - i have been trying 400nl to very little success. It seems i am card dead and when i do get the hands its always 2nd nuts... coolers in a way. Let's see if the remainder of Feb. turns around. Plus i have not been playing nearly as much as i wanted to, due personal reasons and school stress!
