Play strong starting hands.
Play them fast.
Don't fold unless your hand is hopeless.
Keep asking them if they want to play for all their chips. Be more inclined to just stick it all-in.
If they don't leave the table, play bad, you have position and cover then doubling them up isn't as big of a deal.

Excellent post. I think this is an excellent strategy. I almost always buy in for the minimum myself. I like to look like a nit. It's very difficult to play any kind of weak hand at a good table adopting this strategy.
I've seen this strategy at the 2-5 tables but usually not very often at the 1-2 tables.

I'm going out on a limb here, I think Fnord is talking about the best way to play against shorties.

Could you elaborate on this sentence please: "If they don't leave the table, play bad, you have position and cover then doubling them up isn't as big of a deal." Not 100% sure what you mean.

OP: Beginner to Master
If I bet as a bluff, I should be thinking "am I getting better hands to fold? Is it likely that he will fold x% of the time to a y sized bet to make it +EV?". If I bet for value, I should be thinking "am I getting worst hands to call? Am I ahead of enough of his range that this is a good value bet?".

if you give them more chips and they dont leave - you have position on a bad player who is know playing deeper than they are probably used to so you can always take their (your) moniez back. ez game.
