Yep. And if you don't have photoshop, microsoft paint will do in a pinch (that's what I use. :P)

On your keyboard. To the right of F12 on a standard.

he means that its to the RIGHT of the F12. not THE F12. Look a bit harder on ur keyboard. THe print screen key exists. I swear.

i am using a notebook , which the keyboard layout is different from the picture above. Can you tell me what that button is ?

Holy jesus.

Look for a key that says something like "PrtSc" on top then "SysReq" on the lower half of the key.
Light years ahead of the competition.

my notebook is HP nx6120, i saw the blue "insert" button with "prt sc" , i press "fn" simultaneously with prt sc , but nothing happen.


please help

Okay, I got an image of your notebook.

It's kind of screwed. I don't know why they have the Print Screen key paired with insert instead of sysreq.

In any case, just do whatever you have to do to get to the "second function" of the keys ie hold down fn or press it once or whatever then press insert/prt sc. Then paste into paint and you should be golden.

mrlocom save the picture as a jpeg, the filesize of jpeg images is much smaller than bmps.

Use something like camtasia to take pictures from a hotkey that you select. It automaticly saves them.
