Bet more on the river. Nothing you could do about that. I might fold the raise..looks like a clear boat/quads in this case. Also use a hand converter. Oh, and this goes in the Hand Histories forum.
My sig is too much for you to handle.

step one would be not getting rivered.

I could see you putting in a bigger raise on the turn

But i dont take issue with much that happened in this hand except for finding a fold to the river push when the guy that bets the turn decideds putting all the money in against a guy who just check raised and lead into 4 people is a good idea.

I would bet the flop 1/2-2/3 pot with your OESD to build a pot for your draw and you MIGHT fold the 3s out in the process (although on a flop like that he would probably stay around).

Raise turn more, to maybe $15. sets will reraise you but that's what you want anyway, your money in while you are ahead.

You might be able to lay down on that river, but I don't know if I could....

a river laydown would not be impossible here.

But i agree with betting the flop. Multiways, you've got a bunch of outs to the nuts and therefore good pot equity.

the problem is that my very 1st hand on the table. I alway want to start in slow and then get the feel for the game and wait for PT to pick up some info before I start play some real hand. I don't even want to get into this pot untile all sudden straight hit on the turn.
thank you so much though, I'll try to raise more on the turn next time.

I don't think it's a good idea to bet an OESD with 5 people in the hand and 3 left to act behind you..

Personally I'd have raised more on the turn, and gone allin on the river. As played, no way you can fold when the pot is bigger than what stack you have left.

(btw it's funny that bottom straight guy also stuck around to donate his stack lol)

I agree with jack here, the flop is fine, the trouble comes up on the turn. We have a very strong hand here and plenty of people have showed they like their hands, make a big enough raise so you can open push the river. With your stack size you really cant get away from this on the river.

Depending on your bankroll, starting at 100NL might not be the best idea in the world

what about leading the turn, set might raise you here. then you can push over the raise.
what i cant get over is how after you check raise the flop, the low straight flat calls, then calls the river push. you would think that after such a show of strength/willingness to put money in the pot from both you and the set, that he would stop slowplaying and push, or fold since he thought he was beaten.
