I've learned alot over the past week mostly by just thinking about poker.

and one of the things I thought about is how my cash game play should be tighter than my tournament play.

I figure my only goal in a cash game is to make money. In a tournament it is to get everyone out. So I am going to want to play tighter in cash games because in the long run, I'll make money.

My question is this, what EXACTLY is the difference between cash game play and tournament play. Should I play more hands in a tournament? should I play more aggressively? What hands are more acceptable in a tournament that aren't as acceptable in a cash game?

read davsimons SnG strategy in tourney tactics...

The hands you can play early in a tourney will be determined by the aggressiveness of the table. As the blinds go up you have to play more poker. Cash games you can camp for monsters but in a tourney you have to play lesser hands to prevent getting blinded down to nothing.
