Is this annoying minraise going to be trips 90 percent of the time or are people just raising a j here?

without reads i'm unsure what % of the time this guy has trips but given he only minraised i think you have the best hand a high enough % of the time to continue (you're getting 3:1, or 25%, direct pot odds). be wary of on further streets though. his raise size could be "trying to see where i'm at" or "me have nuts me (min) raise". could even be a misclick. i call and re-evaluate on the turn.

True. yeh i think given the number of preflop limps making the pot as big as it was, the min raise gave me good pot odds to call on the chance he's raising JK/JQ/Jx or 99-22. He just donkbet the turn and river so i was in the clear
Im ready this time.

Raise preflop. Whilst your out of position, your likely ahead at the moment, villians will call with worse, and AJ plays alot better postflop with fewer opponents than it does multiway.

Idk about that. Maybe i was tilting after losing with hands like KK heaps but if i just check i save money when i dont hit either card. If i do hit either card im likely ahead of a lot of the range of hands 2NLers think it's good to limp with like JQ/JK, A-rag, small pockets. If i raise pre, these guys are like 60/8/20 loose donks so i'll likely pick up 3-4 callers anyway. So in this case i can play it like a drawing hand , kind of like setmining? I dont really wanna cbet against like 3 opps.
Im ready this time.
