I think I was restricted from the micr-limits on Empire....it's been about a month and a half so I guess that make sense. Where do you go from there...what stakes are you allowed to play? Does that affect the SnG games available too?

Thanks,

How much is your BR? once you have a couple hundo you can safely try 10NL, beat that for a few hundred more and you can move to 25NL. I've heard that $5 or $10 SNGs are good ways to build your BR too. Also look for bonuses, it'll build up quickly if you can manage a break-even game. That's what I did when i started out.

I'd read the Br stickie from this forum too.

Yeah, BR is only at $125 (which is +$75 from initial deposit). My play has been break even over the past 20 days but just starting to trend back upwards. Probably got killed by over confidence and thinking everyone was bluffing! But I am playing tighter and more aggressinve on the pots I do play.

Microstakes rock! I know someone who spent a few months there and built up a $400 roll before moving up from the 0.01/0.02 tables at Stars.

I have an account on Stars as well that I opened up after Empire so I should be able to rock that and build the br before hitting the Empire $10NL.

i have never left micro stakes with respect to ring games.
Been playing money poker for 34 years and decided in 2002 to try that TX Holdem game on TV. Then found Pokerstars in Summer 2005. Still not an overall winner but i am on a good trend and nearly there.

I played $2 NL at Paradise for about 20,000 hands. I don't go by days and weeks, that's meaningless. 20,000 hands proved that I could win.

So, yeah, I logged in this am to see what tables they would let me play. The lowest stakes table I could sit in at was $25NL! I'm rolled for just under 5 buyins! Time to gamboool.

Or you could just move to stars and play whatever you are rolled for there.
