So, for about the last month I have not posted much, as I have not played much poker. I took a break from poker because I needed to withdraw a large amount of cash for an overseas trip at the end of the year and did a month of casino whoring to re-build my bankroll. Also, I did not have much time with Uni.
Anyway, onto the poker side of this post. Just thought I'd post up the results of a 40min session yesterday at Hollywood poker. When I play short-handed, I like to splash around aggressively to build my image up for those big hands. This is how it worked out this time

100NL; 5handed.

Hand 15;

before this I had been raising in position and pumping out cont. bets and raising when i smelled weakness on the flop. None of my hands had been seen.

UTG
MP1 $97
Hero $56 (I buy in with $40, i like short-stack play)
SB
BB

UTG fold
MP1 raises $4 (standard raise)
Hero reraises $12 (pocket cards = 77)
SB fold
BB fold

Flop misses me, but MP1 checks so I cont bet. MP1 calls.
Turn = Ace and goes check check
River = 7. MP1 pushes and flips over AK

Hand 23;

SB raises and I push in BB. SB folds

Hand 25;

Hero $106
BB $100

It's folded to me. I raise $5 with 75hearts. BB reraises to $12 so I call. (I'm a loose little bitch )

Flop = 7K2. BB bets $10. I call (plannin to make my move on the turn)
Turn = x. BB bets $15. I raise to $50. BB folds, I show (my only show all day. I don't often show hands as not showing usually has a better effect)

The money hand

I'm in SB with QQ and a stack of $124 (lost a bit of the $160 or so I had)

MP1 from previous hand still in the game. He rebought and took out a shortie, so he has me covered with $155

He raises to $4, I reraise to $15. He calls.

Flop = KQK. I bet $20, he calls
Turn = x. I bet $45, he calls
River = A (shit, scare card, not folding this though!). I push, he calls with AQ

So, I think this worked because of the image he had of me and my play
a) I was aggressive
b) he had seen me reraise PRF with PPs
c) he knew I played junk aggressively
d) I'm a "fish"

thoughts, comments, criticisms?
Roll Rebuilding (for the second time). Current; $1600 from $300 (previous, $2300 from $15)
