Seriously, this seems to happen every session and I don't know wtf to do about it. I could just stop playing and call it a night when I get up a bi or two but what's the point of that if I want to get my hands in and improve my game?

I just can't seem to work it out and it's why my br has been stagnating so much, I get up a bit one day, get a day like this, get back a little the next day, get a day like this, over and over and it's just getting to me.....I don't see the point to playing 1k of BE (or worse) poker a day when rakeback is not enough to even consider at these stakes.

There's a reason lessons in school (depending on which country you are from) tend to be 40-60 minutes in duration. Experience has shown that focus declines if you try to maintain focus over time.

Do this:
Play a 1/2 hour session. Take a break - check if any housework needs doing or get some fresh air or something. 5 minutes of something else. Then bring up your hand histories from the short session and run a quick analysis of interesting hands. Another 5 minute break reflecting on if there are lessons learned. Then start over with another 1/2 session.

Playing hands does not auto-magically make you a better poker player. Thinking critically and correctly about poker might. And always make sure you are 100% focused in any part of any session you play.

that is a 1000 hand sample.... ive had 20k breakeven stretches and im sure super good players who have been around a while have had 50k hand losing stretches. play more hands, get a 30k hand sample and then if you are still losing ask for help. and post some hands, what made u win at the beginning n lose at the end?

I'm willing to bet yuor focusing on your HM graph or winnings while playing since your actual redline is changing at the end of the sessions. Your not playing the same game from beginning to end of the sessions. Definitly start playing by time and not wins. two half hours or one full hour at a time and then if you want play again in 10 or 20 mins.

Get your hands in and improve your game and stop being results-oriented and looking at your graph and winnings and all that all the damn time.

Locking since (no offense) this is a glorified whining post.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.
