How to Get a Free Sweat Session From Someone Who Would Kick Your Ass at Poker
Step 1: Go to http://www.thundercity.net/chat/
Step 2: Where it says "Your Nick:", put in your nick
Step 3: Hit the "Connect" button
Step 4: In the Java console that comes up, type "/join #flopturnriver" without the quotes
Step 5: Say hi!
Ask about the free sweat session for coming into IRC.

4) pretty much repeat 2&3
5) apply what you learn

It's a work thing preventing you from using Java to connect to the IRC server is what it looks like to me. Other people have had similar.

Confirmed, but with very little time in there.
A newbs perspective-
Regs are so tired of leveling eachother that they jump on any fresh meat, but they'll also tear into a hh like a pack of hyenas and give you some really good feedback. If it's your first time in, have a hh from weaktight ready when you get there. Say hi and see if you can post it before Spoon slaps you with a large trout (I think he enjoys that a little much, but if it makes him happy...). Listen to the feedback, take notes, and go get another hand history. If you're like me, most of these guys are better than you so there's alot to be learned if you can take the rest of it with a grain of salt.
