seems like at empire nowadays (25NL) there are always a couple guys sitting with $5 when everyone else has 20-40.

Well after doubling 3 of them up, on draws that didn't complete or pp's lower than theirs, I decided to just not get into their pots. Who gives a shit; there's nothing to win from 'em anyway.

They're dumbasses, right?

Repeat after me. A ring game is not a tournament.

THis is one of the many situations where the two are different. You have no reason to call with draws. You may still have pot odds, but against these short stacks, you have no implied odds.

Think of it more like this. You can say that it's only $5. But are you saying you don't want to win a $10 pot in a $25 NL room? Are you additionally saying that you feel a need to bust out a short stack?

There is no additional value of busting a short stack out of the game. Realize this player is more likely to click the all-in button, but he won't do that without a hand to back it up. Maybe a weaker hand than normal, top pair or even middle pair in the hole, but he will have some type of hand.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

Most of them aren't idiots - they're just there to see raked hands instead of play poker. I love having two of them to my left for some trivial blind steals =)
Up my bankroll - buy Saints Row.
