Are they considered a purchace or a cash transaction. I'm curious as fees on cash transfers on my credit card make depositing for bonuses barely worth it.

Depends on the card, as I understand it. Likely better off to go with some other mode of funding just incase.

I recommend you sign up for neteller if you want to bonus whore. It makes it really easy to move your money around. I live in the UK, and it was costing me loads changing from GBP to US Dollars moving money on and off sites.

I also live in the UK, and mainly use a UK site where I play in pounds. I use a credit card for deposits and withdrawals, and there are no charges at all associated with either. But then I haven't tried to change any currencies.
