hey guys.. how can you read people online.. like how can you tell if the table is loose or tight.. I tend to not pay attention.. thanks! sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but again.. I"m still learning thanks guys

A quick check is to see the number of players seeing the flop. If it's near 50%, at a 10 player table, it's a loose table.

A bigger concern to me is the aggressiveness of the table. If everybody's limping in, you'll be able to raise your premium holdings to make them pay for playing their lousy holdings, and you'll be able to limp in with drawing hands in late position to hit the big score. Drawing to a hand is a lot easier in limit, BTW.

If you find a table with 40%-50% limping in to see the flop, you've found your table.

I like looking at average potsize too. I want a table where people are overbetting every hand, so if I hit a monster, I can make a lot more off of them.
