Was wondering how aggressive everyone is on the flop(In and out of position) ? The reason I ask is because recently i've been getting outdrawn a lot lately and was wondering if I should just try to take pots on the flop instead of risking the chance for the outdraw. One of the problems that I can see with this is basically building huge pots which I don't necessarily want to do with marginal hands.

Any thoughts?

what stakes do you play, as you may be over my head?

i play 25NL, but have been as high as 100NL a while back. point is, i am usually very aggressive on the flop. its where all my cbets, semi-bluff raises, c/raises, draw bets, air bluffs, etc, generally happen.

i just checked, and i am only a 2.5...and am about the same on all streets. but, i still assume i am WAY more aggressive on the flop because i tend to take a lot of pots down on the flop.

i am not an expert at "building pots," because at the limits i play, aggression still tends to get called more than folded. i just try to play my draws the same as my TPTK flops, for the most part, for deception.

i feel that, at the lower levels, you should try to take pots early and often...as opposed to building monsters and allowing draws to chase.
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!
