Hi!

I'm new to this, only been playing about a month and I'm winning a bit more than I'm loosing.

My problem, I want to play tight and correctly so I've studied some books, internet and odds-charts and so on but if i try to use that in the 1$ sng tournaments I usually play, I end up playing to few hands and being eaten by the blinds. Of course, many people at that level play whatever hand and if i loose my play up too it will be just a matter of luck who hits the flop and of course theres also good hands out there almost every round.

Please correct me if I have misunderstood some concept. How should I beat this game?

Thanks.

in a sit n go, you can't play super tight like its recommended for ring games. there are a lot of different things that people suggest to do. i had started writing out some general tips, but i realized there are way too many. I suggest reading the tournaments section.

I will say quickly to answer your question however, in general don't really play too much except for premium hands for the first 30-40 or so hands. after that, start playing any ace like its a monster, high pockets like monsters, and even medium to low pockets like monsters if you're shortstacked. for the rest, there are some great guides in the tournaments section.
