Say the blinds are 3/6. Guy raises to 18 from middle position. What is the minimum the guy on the button can raise to?

"Guy"'s raise was 12, so a minraise would be 12 more, or to 30.

Though if this were on a test, I would have to say 19, contigent on that being the size of the button's stack (and the smallest chip denomination being $1).

Oh I see, that makes sense. I always play online so ever pay attention.
So if he raises to 30, what is the minimum the guy can raise back? Not that that is likely to happen, but just so I ca explain to them .
Thanks buddy. I'm not drunk!

So what if the blinds were 3/6 ad the guy opes for 20. Does this mean the min re-raise is to 34?
That's the last queston :P

yes.
Just think of it that if you want to re-raise, you have to equal or better what they have raised by, not what they have raised to.
