Hi everyone,
Im just getting started online, and I picked up Holdem Manager Microstakes, per the recommendation of a few friends I have that are grinding it out day after day. Ive got my HUD set up, and right now it is set to default settings, but to be honest, Im still working on getting able to decipher all of the information it gives. Does anyone have a recommended setup for beginners?

One setting I added to my HUD when I first got my poker tracker.

I had to search the Holdem manager forums to find out how to add this , I got lost and confused a lot of the time. I usually do.
I found the more I tweaked with my HUD settings, the more I realised how I would like to customize my personal references.

Currently I have this set up
Name/Hands/Went to Showdown
VPIP/Preflop Raise/Agg Factor
Flop cbet/3bet/Steal
Fold to flop cbet/Fold to 3bet/Fold to steal
I have each row a different color, like VPIP/PFR/AF I have a dark orange color, 2nd row I have as red, and 3rd row i have as green. That way I can tell instantly what stat I'm looking at.
Do what's comfortable for you though. Make sure you knwo what each stat means in your HUD before you use it though.

HEM forum has a thread were you can download huds that other players uploaded. also i think deuces cracked has 3-4 vids on how to set up the hud ect. in videos filter to tools.
