1) I should have folded this, but I was on a hot streak after getting KK cracked.

2) WildCard had been living up to his name, so maybe I didn't give that enough thought. STILL, with the size of the bet I think he has to fold, right?

BUT, I did call his AI, so I must share in some of the donkness...

I dont think you have to be worried about K7 on the turn. Im way more worried about a set but i doubt he has one when he goes allin. If he is a wild player (or one who will call you with overcards and then go allin when he hits his K) then you should probably call. It comes down to what you know about him. Does he bet strong with good hands? or with rubbish hands? or does he bet strong with any hands? Thats the question you need to answer.
With no read other than "wild player" i think you have to call here.

edit: Actually im talking more from a cash game perspective. In a tournament where survival is more important i *might* lay this down. It depends just how wild he has been playing.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

he cold called on the flop with second pair after you bet out of position. Error 1 on his part. You bet instead of hoping to check raise here. Possible error 1 on your part (but i think thats splitting hairs!) Turn is a pure luckybox card for him
So no, you played this wrong at no point whatsoever, you just got 5 outered. But as said, being first to act i might look for a check raise here

Thanks...these last two posts make a great deal more sense than the initial reply I received. He had been playing pretty loose, but I had only seen 15+/- hands and really didn't have a great read.

I was just kinda shocked when we showed, realizing he had called 20% of his stack with only middle pair and a likely busted flush draw.

well, i don't think his play is great, but think about it this way.

against your two pair he's 23% to win with 5 outs plus a backdoor flush draw, he has position on you, he's paying 500 into a 1300 pot with 1500+ behind, and it is possible that he's ahead.
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch
