Hi,
I have not played poker for a year or so now as I couldn't get broadband where I was living, just about to reload an account or two so I thought I'd catch up on current styles and thinking and I must compliment you on the site, bags of good information here both to refresh and new ideas for me.

Anyway, I was thinking of going back to PS as I was always quite successful there notwithstanding ...OMG riverstars RIGGED! However, I wondered if anyone here had tried PKR? I was thinking the graphiccy... is that a word? It is now... style might attract a higher than average ratio of donks, any thoughts?

I look forward to getting to know you all better.

Hi, welcome to the forums!

I have tried pkr as my friends play there, but I quickly burned through my deposit as the software tilted me so much - it takes forever to download and start, it takes ages to load the tables once you click on them so that once you have found an empty seat it has often been filled already.... You can only one table as well.

While there are undoubtedly more fish there, I would not recommend the site. If you want to play The Sims, go play The Sims. If you want to play poker, look elsewhere imo.

Sounds like thats the consensus then, I do have a bit of a screamer of a PC so i might give it a try anyway, but looks like its going to be back to stars, probably for the best since I highly doubt pokertracker and HUDS are going to work with PKR

Word. But the good thing is that ugly software keeps all decent players out - the fish is all yours.

PKR is fkn awesome when you're smashed and can't handle any fast action.

It's so damn funny watching people go on monkey tilt just because you laugh and bang the table after every hand you win, shortly followed by a little dance and giving someone the "loser" sign
