You know maybe that is what's going on and I never thought of it. I thought it was the monster jackpot at Party but it bet it's the WSOP.
When I come home from work at about (5pm MST) I usually check the tables and at $100NL they are about 2 or 3 tables ~$30 max pots but lately there have been 4-5 tables of like $40+ and a few $50+ which is crazy. I'm not complaining though!

Tiffany Williamson and Aaron Kanter are the best players in the world.
An Aaron Kanter quote in an interview:
"Q: One of the things people know you for is your big hand with Greg Raymer, where you decimated his chip stack. Tell us what you were thinking on each street of the hand.
A: He raised pre-flop and I decided to call with Qh Jh hoping to hit something. The board came 3 5 6 and when he bet out I decided I was going to call and then try to make a move on fourth street. The turn brought a 7h completed the strait draw while giving me a flush draw. I thought maybe he was betting again thinking I would fold a middle pair so I made the move to raise. I obviously didn't think he had K K till he announced all-in. I felt I was committed and disappointedly called. "
He raised pre-flop and I decided to call with Qh Jh hoping to hit something.

So? This is fine if stacks are deep enough.

Haha, yea I agree that that part isnt bad, his call however [not sure of stacks] isnt that great at all especially when he says that after he pushed he put Raymer on KK.

I don't know what stacks were either, but he says was committed after his raise, so he called with his flush outs.

Maybe it was badly worded. But surely you need to put Raymer on a hand, consider how he's been playing, his stack, and add a lot of other variables, and even in an interview you should mention stuff like this.
Not just call hoping to hit something.
That phrase just seems soooooo fishy to me.

LOL the look on everyone's face at the table (Raymer's especially) when Kanter made the AI call and flipped over QJ was classic. That guy sucked out so many times it was unbelievable. I won't be surprised if we don't see Aaron Kanter at a final table for a long, long time.

Lukie: "Yo Fnord I was playing omaha earlier"
Lukie: "I got dealt quads"
Lukie: "but everyone folded to my raise "
Lukie: "I was going to pwn everyone"
Fnord: "Gotta slowplay them big hands man..."

My friend John Coito is still in. He's from my town, played high school baseball with me, and plays at the bar game I frequent. he has about 80,000 chips (a little above average last check).

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I agree the phrasing seems fishy, but when you call a reraise with a pair because you think you have implied odds for the set, you are "calling hoping to hit something."
