Hi I’m doing a project at my university in Sweden that is about poker (NL texas). I need help from some of you experienced players here on this forum to take 3 minutes to answer my questionnaire. I really should appreciate your help. Thanks / Per

The answers can be written like this: 1:A, 2:C…. If you have comments, just write them next to your answer.

Eight different scenarios will be described and all of them takes place in the pre-flop situation.
Think of your position as general, it could be both early or late. You have been figuring out the type of the game (these are the scenarios). The table is a full ring (10) NL hold’em.

Definitions:
• In the scenarios below, a normal game is a game when most pots include 2-3 players and the betting is normal.
• Many players in most pots means more than 3.5 players(average).
• With a few players means 2 or less.
• Everything in between is considered as a normal game.

Scenario 1: There are many people in most pots and the betting is normal.

In comparison to a normal game, how should this scenario affect the numbers of hands that you play?

A - A lot fewer hands B- Fewer hands C-No difference D-More hands E-Many more hands

Scenario 2: There are many players in most pots and the betting is high.

In comparison to a normal game, how should this scenario affect the numbers of hands that you play?

Scenario 3: There are many players in most pots and the betting is low.

In comparison to a normal game, how should this scenario affect the numbers of hands that you play?

A - A lot fewer hands B- Fewer hands C-No difference D-More hands E-Many more hands

Scenario 5: There are few players in most pots and the betting is low.

In comparison to a normal game, how should this scenario affect the numbers of hands that you play?

A - A lot fewer hands B- Fewer hands C-No difference D-More hands E-Many more hands

Scenario 6: There are few players in most pots and the betting is normal.
