Here's the story--I'm a reformed SNGer, who has seen the light and been transitioning to cash games. I was soundly beating NL25 for a while, and have recently moved up to the 50s, where I'm also doing consistently well.

That said, I have no illusions that I'm anywhere approaching "good" at ring. I'm trying to improve, and one idea I had was that it would be helpful to watch some of the better FTR ringers and analyze their play. I'm talking about guys like Fnord, Renton, Warpe, Rondavu, etc.--people that have been here a while and have something of a track record. Ideally, also, people that don't play super high stakes, as I feel the play there is too over my head and wouldn't be helpful.

Anyway, would anyone be interested in trading info w/ me--letting me know their PS/PP screen names and when they usually play--so I can watch some and take notes? I'm not asking for hardcore mentorship, or anything, just the ability to watch some ring play and maybe ask the occasional question about a particular strategic line. Thanks in advance.

My best advice is to buy Poker Tracker and I would be more than happy to share stats with you and we can both find out where we are losing and winning money. This program has really helped me find some serious issues in my game. Easily worth the $55 bucks. It will help you get to that next level.

Whoa! That's some illustrious company you're lumping me in with!I may be an overly prolific poster, but learning from me is like asking a fish to show you how to put a hook in your mouth and calling it fishing lessons.

You're more than welcome to lurk during my sessions, but I don't know how fruitful that would be. Reviewing hand histories is probably more time efficient. I use the same handle everywhere - Warpe - and play on Stars and Party, but usually Full Tilt these days.

I don't think Fnord gives out his handle.

some other players i respect on this site (or used to be here) are ripptyde(he had the best poker mind on ftr and is a shame he was banned), lambchop(because he is a tourney stud), and fnord(becuase he has a good understanding of the fundamentals). Although from many of fnords comments i have lost some respect for his game. RING GAMES MASTER=BIGBOY5540
