I'm open to any advice. He has zero experience. What I'm hoping for is something that would allow him to be break-even and get free drinks. I could even convince him to chat up the table if people would fall for it while he folds everything.
The first idea I had was fnord's 13 hand strat, but that seems like the completely wrong way to approach live.
Sorry I haven't put more thought into this.

Your suggestion?
It would be hard for me to help him since I'm no limit player. Thus also harder for me
I'm assuming the best trait at low limit live games is hand/people reading? Teaching that is pretty much right out.

He can play a lot more hands at limit than NL which is why I would let him play limit, he won't be as bored. Plus, being new to the game he would play too scared for NL where that's gerenally not the worst thing to do in limit.
Keys to beating low-limit Vegas 2/4 limit:
1. Finding a seat
2. Sitting in that seat
3. Make sure the dealers deals you cards
4. ???
5. Drunken-profit

Tell him to play good cards and only bet when he hits. Wouldn't that work? Good cards = whatever you want them to be depending on how nitty he wants to play?
