Im having trouble with when to call (or bet) FD's and SD's. I see it often presented as a simple matter of pot odds vs drawing odds. But immediate odds are only rarely provided, and impied odds almost always make it a call if you think you can stack villain when you hit.

This feels like an ok call to me given heavy implied odds (villains seem keen to put money in), although the flush draw taints some of my outs.
I have 6 outs giving me a ~13% to hit turn, the pot odds offer 33%, am i correct? So i dont have immediate odds but i do have implied.

but what if the other guy didnt call, reducing my immediate odds even more. Should i still call?

And am i wrong to think this is a draw i should call?

I keep feeling a little bit lost when drawing, though HU i am comfortable betting a strong draw occasionaly.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

A lot of your outs are dirty.. remember reverse implied odds. The only card you really are happy about on the turn is a non diamond 7.

I just fold here. You cannot stand more than one more bet and you are likely to face another big bet on the turn.

When your draw is really fecking obvious after it hits, your implied odds tend to go down.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

You don't have clean outs, your implied odds suck, and your reverse implied odds are worse.

So it's a pretty easy fold really.
