Should I have been more afraid of the paired board? Should I just have called his minreraise on the river, instead of reraising AI? What do you do in situations like these (with flushes or straights on a paired board)? Am I destined to pay this full house off?

I personally would have bet the pot ($2) when you hit the flush on the turn, he might not have chased that 2-pair to the river...
- or -
Take the warning on the river, he was quiet for the rest of the hand and then bet into you...

I think the key is that a flush was showing so he has to be aware of it. Therefore, a push is going to get a call from only one hand, the FH. A smaller bet though, will get callers from trips, a set, etc. I wouldn’t be afraid of the FH enough to keep me from betting but I am not going to push.

at the $25NL on party, as soon as you get reminraised by the idiots who play there, you know you are beaten unless you have a monster yourself, thats what the do when they have a lock hand - reminraise, so watch out for it, it is also a sign that they are not very good players. also if u see anybody minraising preflop then that is also a sign that they are ot very good players. just an observation.
