I started winning some of my money back today. Here's one of the hands where I got someone's money. The other guy here was being really aggressive and was raising a lot before the flop was even out. This is an example of how I like to defend against these guys.

Seat 1 is the button
Seat 1: Hero ( $106.92 USD )
Seat 3: nisse49 ( $86.07 USD )
Seat 5: alertspb ( $123.08 USD )
Seat 6: Haumo ( $221.03 USD )
Seat 8: jjang2 ( $131.45 USD )
Seat 10: masomit ( $112.60 USD )
nisse49 posts small blind [$0.50 USD].
alertspb posts big blind [$1 USD].
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to Hero [ Qs 7s ]
Haumo folds
jjang2 raises [$4 USD]
masomit folds
Hero raises [$36 USD]
nisse49 folds
alertspb folds
jjang2 calls [$32 USD]
** Dealing Flop ** [ 7h, 7d, Jh ]
jjang2 checks
Hero checks
** Dealing Turn ** [ Ah ]
jjang2 bets [$52 USD]
Hero calls [$52 USD]
** Dealing River ** [ 9d ]
jjang2 checks
Hero checks

As always my friends any comment is welcome good or bad. I won this hand by using my strategy preflop. As this shows the bonus of Otter strategy is that when you do hit the flop the pot is really huge and you can just check it down to win

he's in the MP, you should fold preflop because his opening range is his second tightest
he's not folding a lot and what you're doing is you're bloating the pot with hands like Q7s against hands like AQ

To the op, I have read your other thread, and I am not going to tell you to learn poker. Eventually you will come to the conclusion yourself. But a small piece of advice. If you are going to be a maniac with extremely marginal holdings (Q7o vs Random= 51%), at least stack off when you hit. When opp bet on the turn you should have went all-in.

There is no way this can be anything but a gimmick account and Spenda or Will should out it and ban them if it is because it's setting such a bad tone with the posts and someone new to here may actually beleive this is a valid way to play.

You have to factor in the OP's strategy though........that was his whole stack sat on the table, he had to cover his ass in case villain was playing AA,JJ,J7,K7,A7 leaving him busto.

EDIT: i forgot 99,97,T8 any two hearts

So when you miss you bet to make them fold and when you hit you check to win at showdown? Do you understand why this is very exploitable?

I don't understand how anyone can believe what you wrote. The pot is really huge whether your opponent folds or whether the hand is shown down so why not bet more to possibly win more if he calls and win the exact same and not have to show your hand if he folds?

I'm almost done trying to take this seriously. LOL @ "otter strategy." If PartyPoker ever comes back to the US that will be my sn.

Unfortunately he may not. Just google 'Fgators' then read some of his threads on 2+2. You'll see what I mean. Some people will never come to alone, but we can all do our best to push in the right direction.
