All gains over the past 6 weeks are gone, and I'm back even overall. Very, very frustrating.
Not enough hands for a read on the villan yet. I had barely completed an orbit, but he seemed pretty standard.

Yep, I did. I don't know if I'm upset with my play or not...right now I've left the tables cause I'm on tilt control. But I swear I'm having a hard time with these kind of beats the past few days. Small wins here and there, and then massive hits on hands like this.

3betting the flop or how this is played is fine imo. I think when I get raised on this turn I'm not happy though but still calling.

I'm surprised no one has commented on your flop bet size. It's a bit low. Something $0.80-$1.20 would be better imo.

Just remember that these are high variance hands. You're playing a draw which will pay off bigtime when it hits. But they miss a lot.

i've been seeing this type of stuff a lot lately it seems...ppl who know not to make weird weak bets making weird weak bets and then saying, "oh ya i dunno what was going through my mind. i shouldn't have done that obviously." well is it really that obvious? why did you make the bet? i'm not singling you out kb cuz i dunno if you've done this multiple times or not. i just really wonder why these kinds of bets are being made in the first place if they aren't typos. "i dunno what i was thinking" bets eventually turn into leaks.

This.
I flopped TPGK and the flush draw. There is no logical reason for me not to place a PSB here.
And I know it's a drawy board and the variance is high. Other than my opener on the flop, I'm not upset with my play. The point of the post is that I'm a noob and I'm trying really, really hard to deal with my first measurable, days-long downswing in a manner that will improve my game over the long run. This hand sums up pretty much every hand that has killed me. Over the past few days...TPGK beat by TPTK and the like. I post this here becuase I know I'll get positive, contructive feedback from guys like you, and it helps me settle down my emotions from loosing another big pot.

smart to take a break. i don't really remember my first big downswing but man it must really suck if you never had one before. just remember, it's not the end of the world. you don't need to overhaul everything about your game. this will happen again...and again and again.

OP's on a downer that erased 6 weeks of winnings - he's been coolered, and tilted - repeatedly. Just saying the obvious play in the forum ain't so easy on a timer when you're all f**kt up in the head 'cuz the Poker Bitch is blue ballin' you.

Hm nothing you can do about stacking on this hand man (although I dislike the weak flop lead).. but this shouldn't be totally erasing all your profits over such an extended period of time. I played 5 hours today, you don't want to know the set under sets I've seen (or sets vs quads), flush under flush, etc.. still I managed to play at 21ptBB/100 (+$190) so just take these beats in stride and make sure you get paid when you start hitting your hands  .
