No reads on the villain here, just sat down at the table. I have a feeling I played this hand all wrong. The min bet from the villain on the turn drives me crazy. Could I have played this better?

Im a total prawn at this game, however I tend to think a re-raise with KJoff is kinda loose, also i dont know about the flop bet with middle pair after a pre flop raise

i dont mind reraising a min raise like that cause i dont respect them much in that situation, but if ur gunna raise preflop i think it needs to be 30-40 cents..
i like the bet size on the flop after two checks in position but after a call id be backing down, especially after villian fires a bet on the turn.
the feel im getting once he c/c the flop (Qx) and realised he could get some action from you he bet out on the turn and subsequently on the river too... i fold the turn here with no reads.

yep I should have reraised more pre. The turn bet though really irritates me because its so small relative to the pot size, and I have a hard time folding to such a small bet

Since it's ultra-short 3-bet pre can be correct depending on villain, but don't just throw out another minraise. Make it 30-40c to go.
Villains line is weired. I really want to give him a backdoor flush there.
Anyway... stop it with the minraises, and the money shall flow in your direction.
A hand I played yesterday: thought it was funny how similar they look: http://weaktight.com/750763

min raise pre sucks heavily - If we're going to be 3 betting such a dominated hand we're going to need to at least try to win the pot in the process.
Flop and turn are okay imo - theres no way you can fold getting almost 6-1 when all hes done is call your flop bet and donk out a tiny amount. This is so often retarded draws like K,10 or diamonds etc.
You played it fine post flop but yeah, stop fucking min raising!

re raise him in an effort to make other people with better hands hands than you fold preflop...
a squeeze play against min raisers works best in my expiriences playing micros provided the table is not full of complete super donks with a saw flop % of over 50

KJo on button 6 handed facing a min raise plus no reads. I think it might be better to just flat call and see a flop. We have position so we can control the size of the pot by just calling preflop and we will force our opponent to play poker with us.
By under-3-betting preflop you're just building a big pot with a marginal hand. Unless we have stats on him that he will call lots of 3-bets and fold lots of flops, I don't see a need to bother 3-betting. Save raising for postflop in this case.
I agree with AFchung though based on how you played it, checking behind is good because it will control the size of the pot, and make our opponent a little unsure about firing the turn. We could get weaker hands such as lower pairs to bet into us too whereas not much worse than a queen or a draw will call your bet on the flop.
