Along with a GS micro month. I also have 2 stakes for stars busto peeps.
Stacks will make the decision on who gets them, if they are needed.
But to be sure. My stakes are good luck. So that may be an unfair advantage to anyone that uses them  .

So basically, this is how I'm thinking things are going to go down.
We have ample individuals willfully donating money for GS subs, as it's pretty obvious how beneficial it is to micro players. My thought is to add another GS sub for every X number of entrants. I'm not sure what X is yet, but will re-read the thread soon and see how many likely entrants we have for Sunday and determine a number for X. It will likely be somewhere between 5-10. So there is a good chance there will be 3-5 GS subs up for grabs, and maybe a few more (which I or others will cover).***
The subs will be given out to the top finishers in the tourney, along with the prize pool from the $1 entry fee. The entry fee is sort of my protection to keep the entrant pool from becoming freetroll infested, and because I can't setup freerolls without messaging Support, and even then I'm not sure. If you happen to have no money on your stars account, or have money but the $1 entry fee would be poor Bankroll management for you, then I have a small pool going whereby others and I will donate the $1 entry fee to you. You will not need to pay it back, just enjoy yourself and try your hardest to win a sub.
It seems as if the plans for Sunday 11th at 4pm EST are pretty popular. I do know that a few have already stated that they aren't likely to be able to make it. I apologize for that, and hope you can find a way. If not, let the that fact if this tourney turns out well and the winners put their subs to good use, there is a high likelihood that another one of these will be setup in the fairly near future.
As far as restrictions on who can play, there isn't really any. As I've said freetrollers are off limits, so don't spread the password around. However, if you have a low post count but intend to improve at poker and put the subscription to good use, then by all means you are eligible, so post here saying you would like to play, or else I will likely not pm/email you the password.
As far as non-microstakes players playing, I'm fine with that. And I'll award you the prize if you happen to win. The only thing I ask is that you evaluate it's worth to you, and it's potential worth to a fellow microgrinding FTRer, and decide which the subscription will benefit more.
*** I would just like to note that if for some reason the password does get leaked and there is loads of participation from numerous obvious freetrollers, then I reserve the right to only award a set number of subs to the top winners (likely 5). And if an unknown does end up winning a sub, I will be awarding him. So it is in your best interest to not leak the password so that your chances of winning is increased.***

I think you should mention Stacks that by no means will it benefit freerollers or anyone with any plans to put this sub cash to any other use. This will be non refundable money sent to JGB by Stacks. The GS money will not be placed in your account.

Entry fee isn't being paid to me. You will enter like all other tourneys by finding the tourney and paying the entry fee. The tourney will play out, and the prize pool will be distributed. After this, I will look at the winners, and then get in touch with them, and they can setup a GS account, and I believe I can ship the money to JGB, asking him to activate the winner's accounts.

I would love to play, but I got to work while it will be going on. But I did sign myself up with a sub to GS, so I would only be playing for the fun of it anyways. Anyways good luck to all those (non-freetrollers) who play!

Registration will remain open right up until the tourney. However, since I am going to be emailing or pming the password, if you haven't posted your intent to play in this thread, you will likely not get a pm.
The tourney will be Sunday 11th at 4pm EST. It has yet to be created, but will be created by a reasonable time tomorrow. At that time, I will reply here stating the tourney id, etc, as well as start pming the passwords out.

Okay, so I just sent out a pm to everyone that stated they wanted to play. It should tell the password, as well as the tourney ID. If you did not receive a pm with that information, and you would like to play, please send me a pm telling me you would like to play.
The fastest way to find the tourney would be to go to Requests > Find Tournament, then enter the tourney ID I sent in the pm.
The other way would be to go to the Tourney Tab > Private, then search for a tourney starting October 11th at 15:00 CT with the name "GS Sub Tourney".

Okay this is how it's going to go down. If you won a sub (1st-4th) you need to go to www.grinderschool.com and register an account. After this is complete, I need you to please pm me with your account name. From here I can pay Jeffrey and tell him the winner's account names and sub to be designated to each, and he can activate them.
If you will be donating your subscription, please try to decide on who will be receiving it ASAP. That way they can get their account setup, and tell me, so I can get it activated for them. I'll be doing it all at once, so please try to be quick about it, so others don't have to wait too long. Sometime tomorrow would be great. Thank you.
