    Default Grinderschool: Thoughts?

Just wondering what FTR thinks about the video training site "Grinderschool". It's $20 a month for a sub there and it focuses entirely on the micros. Conversely, someone could purchase both RunItOnce and IveyLeague's basic subscriptions for the same price monthly. Of course, these two sites focus almost entirely on stakes way beyond that of 25NL.

    Thoughts?

I'm of the opinion that the focus on small stakes and establishing a solid base as a player is one of the main benefits of GS that you won't really find at other training sites which are more geared towards already-established players.

Full disclosure: I've been friends with people who helped establish GS and people who are still making content there. I actually coached some of the people who make videos there currently.

Can you recommend the grinderschool site for low/micro tourney players and are there some good coaches/players?
For sngs and mttsngs i am already member of the good sites floattheturn and sngmentors (and also bluefire in the past).

This is true. And you believe that the $35 sub would pay for itself within that three month period?

Well, I've spent all of the last two days studying your material up here on FTR so if you give GS your stamp of approval and associate with some of the guys over there, that goes a long way with me.

I went ahead and gave the full sub a shot. I'm looking forward to working through the series as I play increasingly more hands and learn the game the right way.

I've watched a couple of the videos over there front to back already and taken some extensive notes. I think I've gotten more out of a couple vids there than most of the videos over on DC combined. There really is no underestimating the value of the site being geared toward the nano/micro stakes. So much of the content on the other sites misses it's mark on players like me since it really is only so applicable or in some cases - not applicable at all and/or leaves a misconception.

Very happy I gave this site a shot. Grinderschool and FTR are now the foundation of my study alongside my play as I try to move up through the micros here in 2015.

Bit late to this, seeing as you've already signed up. I rate the product highly and continue to pay my ten bucks per month. For cash, Carroters will give you everything you need to be profitable and he's an excellent communicator and teacher. Colossos is also decent, plus the back catalogue is good too (which is stocked full of FTR legends).
