Hey Guys,
I don't know how it takes me so long to make updates to this thread but it always seems to be forever!
Much has improved since we last spoke, here are just a few updates:
*Removed all mention of PokerTableRatings and HandHQ on our pages (if I missed some let me know)
*Our videos now have iPod functionality in the .m4v format - All of 2011, How To Master and several others from years past. Probably 200+ at this point, additional videos converted upon request.
*We have released player stats and graphs and silly photos on full time instructors on updated About page
Finally, Tomorrow (May 31st) we will be releasing our 1000th video. To celebrate, any one who renews or purchases a subscription on that day only will receive "buy one get one free". No code needed and is available for all subscription plans. The promotion begins 12:00 am EST and expires 11:59pm EST May 31st.
As always we appreciate your support and feedback. We are currently on the lookout for qualified instructors in all games so if you are interested send me an email at admin@grinderschool.com
Cheers,
Jeff

I don't understand your "buy one get one free" offer on May 31st. Does that mean if you buy a subscription, you can nominate someone else for a free subscription? Or if you buy a 3 month subscription, you get a month free, or three months free? The offer also does not seem to be mentioned on the Grinderschool site. At least I can't find it there.

Duffryn,
Just sign up for a subscription and receive an equal number of months for free. So if you sign up for 3 months then you will get 6 months instead, and this option is available for all subscription plans.
It isn't advertised on the site as we're keeping it fairly low profile; only our previous subscribers and FTR Members who read this thread know about it. That said we're treating all subscribers today equal so even if you don't know about it you'll still get the free month(s) added on regardless.

I've just signed up for full subscription.
Jeff reponded to me super fast on the subscription request & made special comment of the double time. So for service one word, "Fantastic".
I had to quick look through the site this morning just one word, "Awesome". I was able to get some vids onto my laptop before heading off to work. What luck as I have taken sick and am literally at the hospital waiting for the doctor watching the vids on my work laptop.
The video quality is great, the presenters are very good at explaining their thought process as they play & (rightly) point out when they got it wrong - hey they are human.
As a new player, seeing a different style is really good. Also seeing how they play at my micro level is invaluable. I'm watching for differences (so I can adapt) and it's pleasing to see I'm not a complete donk.
Even better, the verbalisation of their thought process is going to help me make the decision with a purpose, not simply "because that's what you do". It's definately worth the bucks to be able to analyse why you would c-bet the flop rather than just throwing one out & hoping they fold (or call if you hit), why you open XX in this position, why you try to isolate, etc. This is just the micro so I can't wait to get into the more advanced stuff when I've got he fundamentals truly down.
Two thumbs up GS. If my win rate improves, I'll post. If not, I'm a total goose who can't learn! And I'll be going back over my learning to see where I'm going wrong. Gee, full time senior job, doing my MBA, playing daily & GS to fill that spare time that I usually keep for the kids. My young ones will be all grown up before I see them again

@ Moradis
check out the "how to master" series for your respective game if you haven't already. that's a pretty damn good place to start if you're after fundamentals.
