both villains are 40/10 types with aggression frequencies above 50%. i can't bring up notes on them right now, but i don't remember having any that were relevant to this hand.

pretty much questions about every street.

EDIT: guess i'll add my thoughts.

FLOP: had a huge debate about this in the irc. i have a really hard time seeing it be a big mistake if it is one, given the retardedness of the villains and the potential of my BDFD+overs, but i'm open to thoughts.

TURN: bet-sizing i think is bad. i like betting more, but i was against the clock by the time i decided i wanted to lead out.

i just really think checking is just so inferior to leading out here, especially considering even if they do bet behind me, it's prolly gonna be some retarded size that i'm going to have to make a weird c/r on to get proper value, and that's just gonna put me in a bad spot.

RIVER: i don't think we beat enough of his range to warrant a vbet. we only beat 1/2 the combos of Ax out there, and the amount of 5x's and two pairs he has more than make up for the hero calls he decides to make with hands like 88.

so i felt like my choices were between blocking bet/fold or to just check. i finally decided that since villain was likely very bad at value betting, i could prolly just let him make the blocking bet for me

Robb is an unknown quantity at this point
I don't see a huge problem. You're getting 4 to 1 on the flop. Sure, it's marginal, but if you're read on the fish is correct, it's fine. Still, your behind both ranges, and the danger is that the Ace was just enough of a hand to get you in trouble.

I never fold a backdoor flush.

You hit your hand and there is value so you bet.

River kind of sucks. I like your thinking about villain being bad enough to value bet worse like 88 or AsXs.

If he had bet like pot or something I think it would be a tougher call.

I play it the same.
