I've been watching my statistics for a few weeks and was curious about win percentage at showdown.
I'm at 75% and pretty profitable right now, I'm a tight aggressive player, bet 3/4s to the full pot to push out or capitalize on the flush and straight draws when I flop the set etc. Never go uphill.
Curious what other folks' Showdown percentages are? I could certainly tighten it up to 80 or 90, but I'm afraid I'd be losing more than I gain. Especially in the low stakes games I play in where people go all in with middle pair on the flop.
Whats the opinion on where this should be?

75% is good for NL and superior for limit.
Think about it, you are winning 3 out of 4 showdowns which is pretty solid.
Those stats are often misleading in NL. There are usually fewer showdowns. To make money you only have to win the showdowns when there's a lot of money in the middle.
I also see a lot of hands at passive tables where the board is scary with a 3 flush or high cards and nobody gets a good piece of the board and it is checked down to the river and player with bottom pair wins. That's not really a "showdown." So I would pay more attention to your stack than % showdown's.

I go to showdown about 1/3 of the time and win at showdown about 55% of the time in various levels of limit. It's about the same for 6 max and full, though I go to showdown more often in 6 max of course.

75% is pretty good, definately better then me, i have problems staying patient during a spell of bad cards, and sometimes ill bluff, but it seems whenever i bluff, somebody's holding JJ or up...
lack of patience is costing me :-\.
