Maybe this was an overbet, and maybe you were a little bit too crazy on the chat box.
I maybe would have bet $5 here, that's certianly a much more 'callable' amount for that river.

I agree. Value bet it and don't depend on him thinking you are bluffing.
I wonder what he folded.

You're probably right. I was just thinking about all the times I've seen the board make a hand, guys just pouring their money in only to predictably split the pot. I was hoping he'd think that was the case here, make me out as an idiot trying to steal, and call. Ah, well. Shame it wasn't an ace high straight (10-A) on the board... I imagine more people would call on that.

At this table, yes. Ordinarily I wouldn't clean myself with it. These guys were all limpers and calling stations so I adjusted my starting hand standards. Basically I just started playing suited connectors, any pairs, and even some suited gapped cards like J9, Q10, and KJ. Looking for flushes and straights, and looking to get paid off for them - at least in theory. This particular hand got a lot less action than usual, though, and I only called his pre-flop raise to defend the 50 cents I had already put in the pot. I figured with position on him, and most of the other players having already proved that they weren't that sharp, I could win this pot heads up. But on the typical hand at this table, there'd be six people playing, and if you raised 2 or 3X BB most of them would call. Not an ideal game for my usual tight-semi-aggressive play.
