I have lost all of the money I had in dollars at pokerstars.

I was playing 200NL for the last day and won my bankroll upto $700 and now it is gone. I played bad today because I was bluffing at pots and putting in raises with weak pairs before the flop then not folding cos no A or K came down. I kept running into people with a better hand than I had all the time. I will only describe to you my last hand of my poker life.

I had the 44 and was in the Small blind and I raised cos the utg raised to $8. I put it up to $51 and he went all in and I called because of this thought. I already had put in 1/4 of my stack and he probably had 2 high cards or a king/queen type of hand so it was 50/50 and I was getting better odds to make a call. It was very annoying when he had JJ and I didn't make a 4 on the board.

I hate myself for gambling the money away with bad play. What I did now was I read the bankroll managment and some other bits of FTR digest. I am sorry I tried to tell you all I was a good player. To be honest I thought that I was.

I put more money into pokerstars just $200 and I am going to play $10NL. This should be easier for me to learn here and realise how to beat these bad players before I can move back up. Otter strategy has not worked cos of my bad bankroll managment and bad play. I need to sit and write up a new version of it after I earn $2500. Then I will play the 100NL No Limit game again.

I am going to make a new thread that I'll link to here so that you can all follow my wins and loses. I'll post question about poker through this time and any ideas of my own. Thank you again to everyone and sorry if I was cocky before and dumb. I read the realise you are bad post and think I am about to turn corners of poker.

Otter.

LoL, I swung up and down about 1k over the last week (in online action alone) and I'm playing with an over 20k roll.

No matter how well you play, you can't play 200NL online on a $700 roll.

It's sad to see that you went broke, others didn't either didn't want to see it either, which is why they were so harsh with you.

But that's in the past now! I'm glad you're taking an honest look at yourself and the game, I hope you can learn and grow, and become a successful player.

Well, I'm not gonna say I'm surprised...

Seems like you are making progress though, now that you understand BR management.

If I came off as harsh it's because I wanted to prevent this from happening. But now it sounds like you're on the right track. Good luck, sir!

cool that you have learned this lesson, just a shame that it had to cost you those $$$.
To make you feel better, this is a recipe for making back that $700, and more:
1) find FTR
2) understand bankroll management guidelines
2a) stick to these guidelines
3) read the beginner digest posts
4) read the strategy articles relevant to the games you choose to play
5) apply the content of these articles to your play
6) post hands, and comment on the hands others post
7) join IRC and talk poker when you have a specific question/idea you're toying with
8) profit.

Thank you all for your support dont forget to follow my blog thread to see how I am doing. I will try to write it tonight when I start playing poker in the next hour or so. First those new horses will need fed and grooming because they are still dirty from the truck they came over in. It was not profession done and I am angry about it.

First game of the 10NL is tonight so I will let you know how I do against the bad players there.

Some of them are better than you think. Don't assume everyone else has no idea what they're doing. Some of them will surprise you, and you can learn from that.

I don't know who it is but I'm convinced more than ever that this is a reg or ex-FTR poster levelling. Not from any replies just from the OP.

I'm always nice, and I'm not Otter, nor is Triptanes. I am also not implying Otter is anyone but himself. Once again, good luck sir and I'm glad you started a blog.

If I'm playing 10NL on Pokerstars and I raise to $0.40 and get reraised to $8,
I believe:
1) Otter is real
2) Spenda is not Otter
3) I'll stay at this table

Wait a minute, this happens all the time.
