'sup Gimme, and congrats on your posting exuberosity...

so my question is about Squeezes... according to HM, I do them very, very low... which makes sense, 'cause IDK when the f-ck to do them...

I' mean, like, I know what they are... somebody IP raises, someone flats and you 3-bet the whole f-kin lot. My problem is I have no idea when I should be thinking of doing this. If I have a bad ass hand (AA,KK) then I'd do it... but ain't squeezin, that's value betting!

So... what types of hands are good for squeezes, and what types of vills am I lookin to get squozed?

i hardly ever squeeze during cash as well... during tournaments they're fun. but as the op said, taking advice from me won't get you too far. i feel like i'm one of those "know what to do but have never actually done it" people. what good is that?

 How much do you think becoming a commune reg has hurt your ability to get better. I mean if we all spent half as much of our time we spend in the commune on study and poker would we all not be just that much better.

Helped a buddy of mine move to Marquette a few years ago (he spent a year teaching at NMU), and I asked several people how they liked it there and how the winters were, etc. EVERYONE loves it there except for one cute bartender originally from CA who couldn't wait to leave. My god, I would go crazy with all that snow and cold......

the summers here are awesome, i love it. it's not too hot, not too cold, although a bit humid but that's just variance. we have a lot of great things big cities don't, but man, i just can't stand the winters....

I was in Lake Superior, and the water couldn't have been more than 70 degrees. This was late July mind you. Seriously, though, that area is nice, the park on the island there right outside of town (can't remember the name of it right now) is great and there is a lot to do. Sucks that Green Bay is the closest big city though, and you have to go 2 1/2 or 3 hours to get there....

I like the drive between Escanaba and Menominee along Lake Michigan--isn't that M-35? And I gambled at one of the Indian Casinos there too.....

the summers here are awesome, i love it. it's not too hot, not too cold, although a bit humid but that's just variance. we have a lot of great things big cities don't--Steak and Stein comes to mind LOL, but man, i just can't stand the winters....
I was in Lake Superior, and the water couldn't have been more than 70 degrees. This was late July mind you. Seriously, though, that area is nice, the park on the island there right outside of town (can't remember the name of it right now) is great and there is a lot to do. Sucks that Green Bay is the closest big city though, and you have to go 2 1/2 or 3 hours to get there....

I like the drive between Escanaba and Menominee along Lake Michigan--isn't that M-35? And I gambled at one of the Indian Casinos there too.....
ha lake superior is one of those lakes you swim in only when it's scorching hot out. in august i can usually stand in swim in it for a while, but damn it is cold. there are other smaller lakes and other places to swim that i pick over superior... just too damn cold. all the casinos that ive been to around here are horrible, although vegas totally heightened my expectations.
