Can anyone explain to me how do you give out wrong pot odds to drawing hands? I've heard this many times but haven't really grasp on the true meaning.

This is covered in about eighteen million threads and articles, but basically you bet more than their draw allows them to call profitably.

A flush draw is a 4:1 dog per card; you have a 20% chance to hit it. So if someone has a flush draw on fourth street and you bet half the pot, they're chasing the draw with bad odds if they call. Because the pot only offers them 2:1, and their draw requires 4:1.

That's all assuming you don't pay them off once they hit.

Anyway, that's probably not well-spoken enough to give a great idea of it, but just think of it as betting enough so they'll lose. I guess.
